In the Bible there are stories of weak, outnumbered soldiers of the Lord who fight and defeat strong armies several times their size. David armed with his slingshot, defeated Goliath. Gideon and his three hundred men defeated the Midianites by blowing their trumpets and confusing the enemy. Joshua and the Israelites defeated the city of Jericho by marching around the city wall, playing trumpets and shouting. In countless battles, GodΓÇÖs people seemed weak and limited in weapons while facing savage enemies. These soldiers were not fighting alone. Our strong, limitless, perfect God was on their side.
